A Mum will help you find your smile

and be there for you all the while

She’s happy when you’re happy too

and keeps your secrets safe for you

She loves you when you’re at your worst

and always puts your feelings first

She’ll root for you, will make you laugh

and guide you on your chosen path

She’ll soothe your sadness, sympathise,

her eyes are kind, her words are wise

She works hard with such warm grace

and nobody can take her place

Happy Mother’s Day
